Shane Hogan

Biography

STEM has always been my passion, guiding my teaching philosophy, which is inspired by Benjamin Franklin’s words: “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn”. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree with a specialism in STEM Education from Mary Immaculate College. Now in my fourth year working in the UAE, I serve as a STEM Coordinator and have recently expanded my role to also include IT Coordinator. In addition to my leadership responsibilities, I am a classroom teacher, and I also teach robotics both as a subject and as an after-school activity.
