Biography

Phil Long is an innovative educator, author, and leader in STEM, AI, and education innovation. As Head of Primary STREAM, AI, and Innovation at Arcadia British School, he is passionate about empowering young learners to become creators, problem-solvers, and future leaders. Phil has developed transformative programmes that integrate STEM into hands-on learning experiences, connecting children to the real world and fostering student agency, inquiry, and creativity.

He is the author of STEM for a 21st Century Education, a reflective guide equipping teachers with practical strategies for shaping modern classrooms. He is also the founder of STEM Stars, an after-school programme extending opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and leadership. Phil’s own journey into STEM education began with a curiosity about how children learn best through experiential, real-world problem-solving. He shares his expertise through curriculum design, teacher training, and conferences, aiming to inspire educators and students worldwide.
