Firas Jdeatawi

Biography

Firas Jdeatawi is a Training Specialist at Queen Rania Teacher Academy, with a proven track record of extensive experience in designing and delivering professional development training programs for teachers of science, in Jordan. His experience also includes developing and localizing training programs for educators of elementary and high schools. He was engaged in multiple projects with cross-functional teams. He also participated as a presenter and a workshop leader in QRTA’s Teacher Skills Forum; the focus of these workshops is on engineering design, Models, STEM, and virtual reality in science teaching. Firas’ engagement in QRTA’s science program goes back to its inception in 2009 where he led with Teacher’s College, Colombia University, the development, adaptation and delivery of the science network program. Firas’ experience as a science teacher for middle school grades dates to 2009. It includes 5 years in public schools in Jordan.
