Biography
I’m a Science, STEM, and Climate Change educator entering my 11th year of teaching at the American International School of Abu Dhabi. I’m passionate about designing learning experiences that connect classroom concepts to real-world issues and inspire student curiosity. I use hands-on challenges and real-life scenarios to help students develop essential 21st-century skills: creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
Whether we’re exploring the impacts of climate change, engineering sustainable solutions, or tackling open-ended scientific problems, my goal is to make learning meaningful, purposeful, and empowering. I believe STEM education should prepare students not just academically, but also as engaged, thoughtful problem-solvers in the world around them. I’m committed to fostering an environment where students feel confident to question, create, and contribute, and I’m always eager to collaborate with fellow educators who share that mission.
